Hospitality and yacht options
Three real options for premium experiences.
- Grandstand hospitality terraces (€2,500 to €6,000+ per person). Lounge access plus your grandstand seat. The corporate hospitality default.
- Yacht day pass (€890 to €4,000+ per person). Hospitality on a third-party yacht in Port Hercule. The most photogenic option. See the full yacht cost breakdown.
- Private day charter outside the harbour (€450 to €700 for the boat, half-day). The cheapest sea view of the race if you have a group of 4 to 8. See our Monaco boat rental guide.
- Le Meridien Beach Plaza (Avenue Princesse Grace). Same property as Amber Lounge and Sunset Monaco. 10 minutes walk to Jimmy’z, Twiga, Sass Cafe. Premium room rates during GP. The party hotel.
- Hotel de Paris / Hermitage / Metropole (Place du Casino). The historic core. Walking distance to the track at Casino square. Highest room rates. Most traditional Monaco experience.
- Monte-Carlo Bay or Riviera-Marriott. Slightly further east, more space, calmer. Better value during GP.
- Beausoleil and Cap d’Ail (backup zone). 10 to 20 minute walk into Monaco. Cheaper hotels and Airbnbs. The smart budget play.
- Nice (the rest of us). 25 minutes by train. Far more accommodation choice. Late train back from Monaco runs until around midnight. After-midnight returns require taxi (€80 to €120) or pre-booked transfer.
- Fly to Nice Cote d’Azur Airport (NCE). 25 minutes from Monaco. The Riviera airport.
- Train from Nice-Ville to Monaco Monte-Carlo. 25 minutes, approximately €5. Runs every 20 minutes during GP weekend, late ones until around midnight.
- Helicopter from Nice Airport to Heliport de Monaco. 7 minutes, from approximately €170 per person each way. Worth it on race day.
- Driving and parking. Most circuit-side roads close. The few open garages charge a premium. Not recommended.
- Walking inside Monaco. Avenue Princesse Grace to Place du Casino is 15 minutes. Place du Casino to Port Hercule is 9 minutes. Walk between clusters, do not wait for a taxi.
